East of Wellington, New Zealand trawled at 820-850 m depth H. 13.8 mm - W. 13.6 mm

Remarks

• small white pecten up to 24mm.
• surface of radial rows with small scales.
• can be confused with Delectopecten macrocheiricola (Habe, 1951) from Japan but the surface is more smooth than the latter species.
• another related species is Delectopecten alcocki (Smith, 1904) from the Philippines.
