Remarks

• medium sized pectinid (65-100 mm) mostly salmon pink to brown coloured
• left (upper) valve is concave, right (lower) valve very convex
• the width of Euvola vogdesi is bigger than the height, most pectinid species are higher than the width or sometimes the same (circular)
