Remarks

• colour varies from mottled white black, sometimes with some red or brown
• inside is typically yellow coloured .
• Semipallium marybellae Raines, 1996 is a very closely related species, only found in Guam. It is more reddish coloured than the typical white-black colour of Semipallium tigris.
